Thirteen Three Youth Event | 1000+ Youth Challenged to be Bold for Christ
Thank you to everyone who came to Sharing Your Faith in a Dangerous Place, Thirteen Three’s 2011 Youth Events.
Pastor Victor shared a challenging message of devotion to Christ and we were encouraged to be bold as we represent Jesus here in Sydney.
We are not fearful of those who persecute us, but fearful for them, for eternity.
My prayer for this event was that God would spark a passion for mission and evangelism in every heart. I hope you were inspired to prayerfully share your faith with friends at school and in your local community.
We were so encouraged with the response from youth around Sydney to Thirteen Three’s call to be BOUND WITH THEM:
• 1050 youth attended our two events hosted by MBM Youth in Rooty Hill and Menai Anglican Church,
• $3,500 was raised to support underground Bible school students in Vietnam and Burma,
• 236 youth committed to stay connected with Thirteen Three.

"We've got nothing to lose. We've got no reason to hide. We've got the answer inside of us. It's time we took the disguises off."

We are so pleased to hear how God was working as Pastor Victor shared about his dangerous ministry to Muslims in Malaysia. Check out these Facebook comments from youth who were at the event:
I had the most amazing and challenging night hearing from Pastor Victor, a persecuted Christian living a radical life for Jesus!
Such a challenging night at 13:3! A challenge in how we share our faith and the Gospel message to others! Christ’s love for us all is a love that I cannot keep for myself!! It’s a message that has the power to save! It is the way to eternal life

That night was so great! Thank you to everyone who was involved. Pastor Victor just left me lost for words after seeing and hearing what people like him have to go through just to have Jesus in their life is amazing. The story about the man being whipped and almost denying Jesus then he saw hell and told them it is ok to cut off his head but he’ll never deny his Lord, wow that was so touching. I could never do that. I need to start telling everyone and doing it for Jesus and them and not for me ♥ thankyou
We can’t wait to see you at our next Youth Event!
Want to get involved with Thirteen Three?
Here are three things you can do right now:
1. PRAY. Make prayer for the persecuted church a regular and vital part of your personal prayer life. This month pray for Tohar Haydarov from Uzbekistan who has been in prison on false charges since March 2010.
2. SPREAD THE WORD. It’s awesome to see youth being impacted as they connect with persecuted Christians. If you have been blessed by Thirteen Three, we would love you to share our ministry with your friends on facebook and twitter.
3. SPONSOR A STUDENT. 15-year-old David Low is walking 400km in the July school holidays aiming to raise $10,000 to help Thirteen Three support underground Bible school students in Vietnam and Burma. Check out what he is doing and be inspired to consider how you can help us support persecuted Christians by being BOUND WITH THEM.
Thanks for helping Thirteen Three support persecuted Christians!
