BOUND WITH THEM

So, you’ve heard the reality of persecution against Christians. You’ve been deeply moved and impacted by their stories. But what now? What can you do to support them?
Thirteen Three is calling on Australian youth to be BOUND WITH THEM. Not to keep persecuted Christians at a distance like strangers on the other side of the world, but to realise that they are our family in Christ. As brothers and sisters in Christ we are deeply committed to one another.
Hebrews 13:3 calls us to “Remember the Lord’s people who are in jail and be concerned for them. Don’t forget those who are suffering, but imagine that you are there with them.”
Several youth groups have come up with awesome practical ways to be BOUND WITH THEM. Soulies Youth at Narrabeen have put a list of their ideas up online. Thanks Soulies for your ideas and passion to support persecuted Christians!
Over the next few weeks, we’re going to be blogging through ways for you to support our persecuted family: raising awareness, prayer, and fundraising.
This isn’t a complete list. We need your ideas too!
We hope that this won’t just be a brainstorming session. Act on your ideas. Think about the passions and gifts that God has given you and use them to serve Jesus, use them to support our persecuted family. Tell us what you are doing so other Thirteen Three supporters can be encouraged and inspired.
