Introducing Event Guest Speaker: Pastor Victor

In June Thirteen Three is bringing out Pastor Victor, an international youth speaker and frontline evangelist heading up a dangerous, covert ministry to Muslims in Malaysia! He’s going to talk to us about Sharing your Faith in a Dangerous Place.

Pastor Victor was born a Muslim.

My grandfather was a wealthy Muslim trader who helped build mosques and Islamic schools and even provided financial support for a terrorist organisation in Aceh, Indonesia. It has to be a divine intervention that his grandson is building churches and making disciples today! With God all things are possible!

As a teenager, Pastor Victor’s life was transformed when he received Christ as Lord. Today he and a team of Muslim background believers have established a covert ministry to share the love of Christ with Muslims in Malaysia. Over 1500 Malays have been reached so far!

Malaysia is not a country most of us associate with persecution. The Malay are the largest people group in the country, making up 63% of the 28 million population and by law every Malay is born a Muslim.

Converting from Islam to Christianity is forbidden. Apostates face being imprisoned or sent to one of the many ‘Islamic Rehabilitation Centres’ (commonly known as ‘Torture & Brainwashing Centres’).

The penalty for leading other Malays to faith in Christ is even more severe. Preaching and distributing Bibles to Malays is illegal.

Pastor Victor says:

Local churches are paralysed by fear because of this Islamic Goliath, afraid to reach out to the Malays even though they know they must! But by the grace of God we and other little ‘David’s’ are inspiring churches to do the Will of God without fear!

Pray for Pastor Victor as he prepares to visit us in June. Pray for his team as they take risks to share the Gospel.
